La Cascada Mexican Restaurant in California

"This review is long overdue! I’ve been coming to La Cascada since I was very young, back when the restaurant was across the street in the Save Mart Shopping Center. My parents used to bring me here as a child, and now, as an adult, I continue the tradition by coming often with my husband and our little one, especially on Sundays. We are always greeted with wonderful service from Rosa and the entire La Cascada family. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. The food is always delicious, it never disappoints. The flavors have stayed consistent over the years, and I appreciate that they’ve kept the same amazing recipes that made this place special decades ago. If you’re wondering what to order, I highly recommend the “Jose's Special” with bell peppers and onions, it’s full of flavor and one of my favorites. If you’re in the mood for soup, the albondigas are absolutely to die for. For something lighter, the chicken Tapatia salad is fresh, flavorful, and always satisfying. And if you’re craving something traditional, the red enchiladas are hands down some of the best you’ll ever have. And don’t leave without dessert! I highly recommend the fried ice cream it’s loaded, indulgent, and absolutely worth the cheat. This is and always will be our forever favorite Mexican restaurant. "I been coming here for years since I was a kid. This is my family's favorite place to eat. My favorite is the number 11. Or even just the wet burrito in red sauce. The food is always fresh and hot , lots of flavor. The service is great and I also recommend their breakfast."
